how to paint evenly on small drawings using the chinese brush?

using the chinese brush to paint usually causes the drawing to look too watery….how do i aviod that…any suggestions on ow to paint small delicate drawings?

It’s not the brush. Perhaps, It’s the paint or type of ink.

Maybe you need to load you brush more often.
Maybe your not loading your brush as full as it could be.
Experiment with different strokes.

Good luck,
