Why is it okay when Chinese people want to live in a "Chinatown" or Mexicans want to live in their own area?

But WHITES get accused of being RACIST if they want to live by other people who are LIKE THEM?

I’ve been to Chinatowns in many countries and I never heard them being called RACIST for wanting to live in the same community. Same with all other minorities.

Why are whites painted with a different brush for simply wanting to be around people like them?

GREAT QUESTION!

The kind of reverse racism that is accepted EVERY DAY.

You should send this question to Eric "I release terrorists" Holder, who believes we are too cowardly to discuss these matters.

Because that is the way it has been with every immigrant group that has come to America. There is comfort to be drawn from being surrounded by people who share your culture.

When the Italians, Germans, Irish, Polish, Jews, etc., came to America they always settled together. The Chinese and Mexicans are merely following the tradition started by the early white immigrant groups.

    I 100% agree.

Neither of these 2 scenerios should be accepted, as both are racist. Love your neighbor no matter what color or national origin they are.

    Good question!

You raise a very valid point. It is a reverse racism of sorts.

However, I would challenge that it is actually not in anyone’s best interest for there to be "Chinatowns," "barrios, and the like. When people fail to assimilate into the host nation’s culture, they are setting themselves up for failure. Why come to America if you don’t want to be an American? Consequently, I’d rather see those folks moving in to your White communities and learning to be more American.

Keep talking about racism so No-one forgets about it. Lets keep racism alive by asking stupid questions that only apply to a few people! Good job! Way to heal this country.
Blame the blacks instead of the thieves (media, government, big business) that want you blame ANYone other than them for everything!
    Your intelligence is shining through!!!
    Way to go sheep!

I know what you mean. Same thing how we have Black History month, if we put a white history month everyone would go friggin NUTZ. If we had a white version of NAACP the black population would go crazy. How we can’t choose our patrons based on the color of their skin but many find it ok to vote for our president based on the color of his. The Black Community has a huge double standard on Racism and they just get pissed off when you question them about it. Im not racist by any means but I just dont think I owe reparation money to anyone because they weren’t affected by it in any way at this point in history. Same thing with Native Americans as well.
